About Me

I love stories. Books (sometimess you can see me walking the street while reading a book), movies, games, people, comics, anything really. I hunt them and hunger for them. I have a passion for politics and philosophy and like discussing those very much. Next to that I like competition, in video games as well as board games.

Good food is definitely something I can spend time on, as long as I am not making it for myself. I like being around people but I can be very introverted and read by myself in a bar, enjoying a beer. Nonetheless, I love to go out and party to have a good time.

I dream big and have loads of ideas, but few ever make it to reality, mostly because I don't have the discipline to see it through.

Getting to know new people comes easy for me, but making new friends is harder for. It takes a while to build up trust I guess.

If there is anything else you'd like to know, pm me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I greatly enjoy life and am always looking for new things to do. The past year I have worked as an English teacher at a secondary school. This was an amazing experience, since I got to meet loads of fun, interesting (and at times anoying) children. Even more so because it was at an different level than I did, so it really broadened my horizon. After saving up for a year I was ready for a new chalange and I decided to try my luck somewhere else in the world.

I am really looking to experience how others are living their life around the globe and I think this can best be done by living as they do. Also, couchsurfing is just a fantastic way to meet new people.

I used to couchsurf living in England some three years back, but I never got aroudn to inviting people to my home in Amsterdam because my flatmates weren't into it. I really hope to get my own place when I get back from my travels so that I can meet loads of new people and hear intriguing stories.

I am now about 2 weeks into my 7 month journey. On my way to Kuala Lumpur soon. Plans keep chenging, but I am loving it. Look forward to meeting ya'll.
