About Me

CURRENT MISSION

♫ By the dawning of the sun, take over the world ♫

ABOUT ME

How is possible to write ALL about oneself?

First of all, I love Real Madrid, despite anything you might say, I have loved the institution since I can remember, when they didn´t won anything, so is not for the trophies, I really hate spend money, so is not for the "stars", I don´t give a damn about politics in sports, I just like them, but as you´ll read further, I autocritic myself, so, if you are against Real (not fan of a particular team, just ANTI-Madridistas), don´t waste your time trying to convice me to change by telling me all the flaws, believe me, I already know them.

After that... Maybe I can start with something unusual, I have Peter Pan complex, I want to be a child my entire life, but at the same time I accept the possibilities and responsabilities of a grown mature person. Well, maybe is not that unusual, I think everybody has this kind of dualities, in many levels, is understandable and not blameworthy.

I respect a lot, even when I am not particularly agree with the point of view, but I really like to let people to explain why they act the way they do, the way they think, and really appreciate to receive the same treat, even when that is not that common. The point is that everybody has rights, and our rights ends when others begins. You cannot hide in freedom of speech to attack others.

I am my own worst critic, that is why I can accept critics pretty easily. In fact, I am a good listener, sometimes a little bit shy, but when I get comfortable I become talkative, specially when it comes to sports or music.

My opinion is that if you do not have something good to say, you can save it to yourself. Unless, is a constructive critic, and it helps to improve.

PHILOSOPHY

¡¡¡¡Creeds separate God´s childs!!!!

I don´t regret of what I´ve done, I regret of what I´ve don´t.
Dream as if you'll live forever; live as if you'll die tomorrow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Actually the best that I´ve done in CS is integrate a small group of my closest friends to the project, at least the ones who I thought that might contribute to enrich both their lives and the group.

As I can´t give couch, I compromise with help surfers to find someone who can. I know plenty of couchsurfers in the area so probably somebody can help.

I would like to improve the groups where I belong, make them more effective, because besides gather people in the city who live there and have that in common, this is a window for surfers from other parts of the world, who doesn´t know what to do, or when or where or how. So is important to upgrade from a Social Forum to an usefull tool.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CouchSurfing has changed my life, it has given me so much in so short time, friends, love, memories, thoughts. CS is a way of life!

Interests

Food, different gastronomies of the world, wines, futbol (not soccer, it´s called FUTBOL) I love Real Madrid with all my might, get to know many countries, persons, learn a lot of cultures.... go to every major futbol game, classic´s, derby´s.

Music, Movies, and Books

MOVIES: Lately I rather watch a dvd at home than go to the cinema. My favorite movie is Trainspotting, is funny that finally Danny Boyle is getting the recognition he deserves. I enjoy war movies, specially World War II, not because of the blood, I don´t even like action movies, but for the history and the background. I like suspense movies, not terror, I think you can frightening a lot without using special fx, just with the psicology.

I really love Eternal sunshine of a spotless mind. Is amazing, need great performances to achieve, that you hate Elijah Wood and love Jim Carrey. Kate Winslet is just great as usual. Also loved her in The reader.

We need to talk about Kubrick, the Shining, Orange Clockwork, Full Metal Jacket, and go on.

The teen movies of the 80s are great, Sixteen candles, the Breakfast club, Porkis, Pretty in pink. Also Back to the Future, the whole 3. The Tom Hanks movies, Joe vs the Volcano, Big, Splash, the Man with one red shoe.

Amores perros, Sexo con Amor. Every single movie which appears Monica Belluci. Or movies with the meanest motherfucker that ever hit the streets (I know, Shaft, but I´m talking about Samuel Leroy Jackson).

Welcome to Fight Club. The first rule of Fight Club is: you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is: you DO NOT talk about Fight Club! Third rule of Fight Club: if someone yells "stop!", goes limp, or taps out, the fight is over. Fourth rule: only two guys to a fight. Fifth rule: one fight at a time, fellas. Sixth rule: the fights are bare knuckle. No shirt, no shoes, no weapons. Seventh rule: fights will go on as long as they have to. And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first time at Fight Club, you have to fight.

Johnny Depp, specially when involves Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton.

Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose a three-piece suit on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pissing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourselves. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose somethin' else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got heroin?

MUSIC:
I really LOVE Soda Stereo, an argentinan band. I really listen to everything, since The Beatles, The Who, Pink Floyd, Stone Temple Pilots, noFx, Rancid, Sonata Arctica, Soundgarden, Stratovarius, Radiohead, Candy66, Bad Religion, 311, The Cure, Bob Marley, Calle 13, Depeche Mode, Queen, Guns n´Roses (even thought Axl is an asshole), Iron Maiden, Lilly Allen (she is the biggest rock star of the last years), Jay-Z, Los Paranoias, Mano Negra, Millencolin, Pachelbel, Oasis, Blur, Placido Domingo, The Ramones, Pearl Jam, Snoop Dogg, Pharrel, Sublime, The killers, The Police, Cranberries, White Stripes, Sex Pistols, U2, Yann Tiersen, and I will be adding when I remember.

BOOKS: YES! I Love the Harry Potter books, J.K. Rowling just rules. The movies have sucked a little bit, get serious. But we can spend hours and hours talking and debating about the books.

I am having a renewed interest in Latinamerican writers, although my favorite has always been Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I´m reading right now Horacio Quiroga, just finished Arturo Uslar Pietri. I also enjoy Dan Brown, I know, looks like I only read pop writers. At least I´m reading, I wasn´t used to, so if you want to propose something, I will probably take a look of it.

And like technical books, cooking, desserts, chocolates, wine, sports, memorabilia, etc.
