HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by Hosting travellers whenever i can... Would like to surf someone's couch soon though- something I have never done.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted a few couch surfers so far and have made some great friends while doing so. Most of our couch surfers were polite, warm and friendly. Some were absolutely wonderful and I do hope we see them again.

Note: We typically get gay men surfing our couch but would love to host a straight woman or a straight man or a gay woman as well so please feel free to write and ask for a couch with us...:)

Intereses

Free time spent hanging out with friends having a smoke or a drink, watching movies, listening to music and the like. Not very out-doorsy but can be convinced to do most things. would love to do a nature trail or walk one day. Like to swim and love to eat good food. Spend heaps of time cooking so learning new stuff to cook is a must do!!

I work with Indian arts and crafts and so love anything to do with textiles, pottery, ceramics, craft, weaving and the like.

When I travel I love to walk around a city and take in the sights and smells and sounds. Love architecture. Beautiful old buildings, churches, monasteries, temples, castles and palaces are heaven. Meeting locals and sharing a drink or two. Eating. Lots of eating. Good food, street food and a home cooked meal are all part of a good trip.

The ten next countries on my list to visit are Turkey, Finland, Japan, Vietnam, Chile, Argentina, Georgia, Iran, Netherlands and Uruguay.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Got caught in a huge downpour in Angkor Wat and spent an hour taking shelter in a temple with some locals and an English couple. To be stuck anywhere in Angkor Wat is memorable.

Am fascinated with antiques, pottery, ceramic, arts and crafts, folk arts, basketry... Would love to talk about and learn about crafts from all over the world.
