About Me
TRAVEL IS LIFE :)
In my early 20s:
Lived and worked in Hawaii for 3 months.
Backpacked around Europe for 2 years
Lived in Scotland for 2 years
In my late 20s:
Worked in the mining industry in Australia for 2 years -lived out of my 4WD and spent each week off road tripping Western Australia.
Then Oil and Gas industry for 4 years.
Traveled through Asia.
Went to Iceland and Greenland.
Road tripped the East Coast of Australia.
In my early 30s:
Quit my high paying job
Put my house up for rent, sold everything I owned
Started working online.
Have been traveling for 2 years- all through the Americas.
My house in Perth is rented out, but there is a granny flat out the back that is open to the world- paying it forward in gratitude to all the people that have helped me out over the years.
My tenant is happy to help, as long as you don't bother her too much :) but I am happy to give any advice you need.
Love the no comfort zones, lots of adventures and fun and exploring! And activities!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am traveling solo, so love to meet like-minded people and go on wicked adventures, or even just catch up and talk travel, health, wellness, and transformations.....or even about how I broke into the online world, and how I can help you to do the same thing :)
Interests
Everything about the human condition, the hero's journey, and health. And wellness.
Love exploring the outdoors, doing crazy, off the beaten track activities- not a fan of the tourist traps.
Adrenalin junkie. Nature lover. And all about the activities!
Advanced diver, wanting to learn Spanish and to surf.
Music, Movies, and Books
Rock, indie, hip-hop (mainly the 80s and 90s stuff), soul, reggae, oldies, funk, drum n bass, accoustic....love it all!
Harry Potter fan, love comedies, and a closet romcom watcher.
Autobiographies, non-fiction and educational. Love books that smack you in the face and give you those solid wtf moments...however most books I read at the moment are text books. Similar outcome.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-A fishing expedition in Greenland with 3 locals that didn't speak English and 40 Greenland dogs (like huskies, only part wolf. Not to be touched. Have been known to eat babies)
- Swimming/diving with dolphins, whale sharks, turtles, manta rays, stingrays...
-Skydiving! In Australia, New Zealand, California, and Switzerland- leapt out of a helicopter over the Swiss Alps. Huge fan.
-Got punched in the face by a kangaroo when I was 8.
-Taking Ayahuasca in the Amazon in Peru for 3 weeks straight. Geeeeeeeeezus.
