My mission is to explore until I have satiated my need to explore. Perhaps this time will never come.

ABOUT ME

I grew up a young lad in a small farming community in northeast Nebraska. I always had the urge to leave. I have had the chance to travel to many places and realize now, years later, that perhaps home isn't such the vile place I recognized it as when I was a juvenile. Traveling in general lets me not only appreciate my home more, but also to be able to appreciate the diversity that embodies the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've slept on the street by myself in Wayne, NE (small college town). The police asked me what I was doing. I told them I was resting after a night at the bar. (I had with me McDonalds and a sleeping bag; I was prepared). The officer stuttered a bit... "eh, uh, okay, well, you know you have to be out of here before this toy store opens, right?" I told him I'd set off at sun up and he left.
