Overview
About Me
I hosted on Couchsurfing for years, then stepped away when the platform changed. I’m back now because I’ve got space again and I’m up for hosting over the next few months.
I’m a hypnotherapist, and I also teach breathwork, yoga, memory training, and a few other mind and body skills. I’m into that childlike state of wonder where life feels vivid, the kind of presence you get when you’re in a new place and properly awake to it.
I’m based in Edinburgh. Early riser, clean, respectful, easy to live with. I like good conversation, and I’m also good at giving people space.
A health curveball in recent years has made one thing simple for me, life is for living. I’m aiming to make it full, meaningful, and fun.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because community travel beats going it alone.
I want to meet locals, share stories, and experience places through real life rather than a bubble. On the hosting side, I enjoy giving travellers a solid base, a warm welcome, and a bit of local insight.
We’re all heading to the same destination, so the journey is the bit that matters.

Music, Movies, and Books
I’ve got a serious book habit, mostly non-fiction. Psychology, learning, the human condition, symbolism, practical skill-building. I’m always up for swapping recommendations.
Music taste is broad. Films wise, I like stories with depth, cleverness, and feeling.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I could strip and rebuild a motorbike engine and gearbox by 14.
I’ve also published two books.
I cleared my mums PTSD in 15-20 minutes.
Teach, Learn, Share
My work and links:

I can share practical memory techniques, breathwork basics, self-hypnosis skills, and a bit of playful magic if the mood fits. I love learning local culture, hidden spots, and whatever you’re into.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m tidy, respectful, and useful. I can help with real-world stuff from unblocking a drain to DIY, basic repairs, organising, building things, even motorbike tinkering. I’m also happy to cook something simple and share a meal.
