About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission: cali coast via bike & train Objectives; wine tasting, adventure and art
ABOUT ME
Hello CS community. I am not so fond of the idea of describing myself and think it's a bit odd. If you want to know the real me that can't be typed and categorized lets get a coffee, go for a hike, walk, bike ride... anything. I am over all pretty relaxed, trying to keep it casual and caring.
PHILOSOPHY
I do not have a solid mantra that I follow each day, but I have learned that this is meaningful to me; "my responsibility for the world begins and ends with myself". In many ways only if I take responsibility for myself can I then help others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Riding the CS wave. Being involved at different locations in different ways.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
At the moment I have one couch surfing experience tied to this site. I have though traveled and moved through the world in many, many different ways and am excited to do so again.
Interests
first interest: EVERYTHING...but seriously I learn through doing, therefor I must do to learn. Things I do consistently are outdoor related or physical. Hiking biking camping photography ART mushroom hunting gardening building neat things. a real good party thrown in doesn't hurt. Cooking (that is a big one) eating (even bigger) drinking reading and... all the things I have yet to try.

Music, Movies, and Books
Please, I beg you; less gory horror films (ie: Hostel, Saw III -whatever). I grew up watching Indiana Jones, Star Wars and Back to the Future, but the list is far greater than that. Musically I am a huge fan of anything with a beat; and would be even happier if it were a funky one. Not so much into country but wont ask one to turn the station. Books... read them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hearing a man play an Arab folk song on the lute as the fascade of the "treasury" within the ancient city of Petra is lit with what had to be over a thousand luminaries. That is something to see
Teach, Learn, Share
As a function of learning through doing coupled with having done a lot of unique things the best way to answer is by asking me to help. One thing I really enjoy is cooking with others and mixing recipes and cultures around the kitchen and table. Another is discussing and working on art in any medium with any person.
