HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Stumbling through the streets of Belgrade at 4 in the morning, this one guy recognized Seoras (my Scottish nephew, just a couple years younger than me) and I from on here...small world, and with this site it seems even smaller.

Hitchhiking in the Balkans
The hike 2km up on the side of a cliff near Xian, China (Hua Shan)
Went to the Chinese - Pakistan/Afghanistan border from Kashgar up along the Karakorum HWY
Machu Picchu and the sacred valley in Peru
Swam in a lake in the Amazon near the Peruvian/Bolivian border, after having fished piranha out of it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy learning about everything! From new languages to nature, history to carpentry, new foods to puzzles, there's a lot to see out there!

I've been playing music for over 20 years, various instruments, and have been teaching music to friends for the past 10 years, was volunteer-teaching high school music at an adult high school a few years ago.

Choose an instrument and I'll be happy to teach you how to play it, even if I have never played it before!
