When I have the time I do really enjoy hosting people and showing them around my hometown. Also it's great being able to hangout with people when I'm travelling alone in a foreign country. I've met some great, interesting people on this so far...loads of memories and new friends! Couchsurfing really can be a beautiful thing.
Also, couchsurfing is usually spontaneous for me. Often I decide last minute if I can host...Please don't request many weeks or months in advance :)
