I am currently doing my PhD in German Studies at UConn. I've always been interested in other languages and cultures and that's what made me choose the career path that i have: I teach languages. In my free time I also like going to the gym, swimming, cycling and travelling (how surprising on Couchsurfing).

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I have both hosted and surfed quite often, always had really good experiences. I find couchsurfing the best way to travel when you travel alone, because you always end up making new, great friends, sometimes for life.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: it really depends on my mood, from opera, Chpin and Mozart through chanson, classic jazz and rock and roll until Madonna, Rihanna, RHCP and Behemoth... Movies: huge fan of Marvel and DC Comics, James Bond, Indiana Jones. Books: very much into crime novels and political fiction. Polish literature mostly, but not only (avid reader thou)

I am basically a teacher of German and Russian, but i also enjoy teaching my own language - Polish :) From my side i would like to learn any language you could teach me ;) I can cook some polish dishes too :)
