Me and my family are very happy to have fun with the travelers who come through Dambulla. We are more of an on the spot host rather than planned. It would be great if you could come and meet us at our Motor Bike Shop. Even if we don't make contact you should come (it is quite likely we can host). Almost everyday we are here at the shop until about 6pm. IT IS EXTREMELY EASY TO FIND... JUST ASK LOCALS. The shop is called "Robert Motors" and it is directly across from the "Browns Regional Centre" (look for a tall billboard sign)... which is next to the "Gimanhala hotel"... which is about 300 meters from the "Food City"... which is only 100 meters or less from the main bus stand in the center of town. Tell your bus conductor or the locals near you that you wish to get off at the "Food City". From there our shop is on the side of the road going with traffic towards Anuradhapura/Trinomale/Sygiria. If we are open you will see a line of old Motor Bikes out front. Once you have arrived to the "Food City" if you are still unsure you may try and call my Father. His name is Robert, everyone in Dambulla knows him. If anyone asks, you can say you are looking for him and they will point you to the shop. His # is 0723455404. We would be happy to host if we can at that time. Things change every minute here and we are a very busy family. Being that we are a full house we always like to make sure that everyone is fed and that there is enough. If you come to our home please be prepared to eat and understand that we ask for your contribution for the food and drink. Understand that we want you to feel a part of our family. If we can not host you our Auntie has a very nice guest house directly across from the Golden Temple Called "Oasis". It is a small budget accomodation and is as modestly priced any in Sri Lanka. We can help you get situated there and hopefully we can still have fun. ***I will get back to you IF I CAN through this site, but if not PLEASE don't hesitate to just show up.***
