I am a big little kid, and I love to explore everything that life has to offer. I work to live as a 5th Grade Math/Sci teacher. I will try anything once, but some of the things I do for hobbies are rock climbing, table top gaming, disc golfing, hiking/camping, paddle boarding and salsa dancing. Besides all of that, I like to say I am nice guy who loves to help others all while doing it with smiles and laughs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am hitting the road and am hoping to find kind people who are willing to host me for a night. This summer I am going on a cross country road trip to visit my brother who lives in Bainbridge Island, WA. The trip is personal reward to myself as it is my first summer off as a professional school teacher. I mapped out the route and where I want to stop, now it’s just finding places to crash and lodge. I have some camping stops along my journey so it’s only a one night need here and there.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Too many to name, but lately my car rides are filled with Against Me!, Gaslight Anthem, Childish Gambino, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse, and any other music that makes my heart hum and my toe tap.

Movies and Books: Anything comic book related, comedic, historical, children’s books, and anything fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It’s not one thing, but collectively in my lifetime I have donated 36 units of blood to the American Red Cross.
