About Me

I'm a curious and adventurous person who likes travelling, (landscape) architecture and food. As a designer of in particuliar outdoor public green spaces, I'm interested in exploring the faces behind the facades who make, use and live inside these spaces and cities. The only way to achieve this is by visiting and meeting as many places and locals as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's always fun to meet new people and their stories. Moreover, as travellers, we have to be careful that the places we visit are not becoming huge outdoor decors or big museums that pleases travellers for a short moment after which they become again ghost areas. So every time we travel we have to pay attention that we don't expel local life from these places and therefore we need to try to engage (at least a bit) with the faces behind these places. Couchsurfing is an awesome way to this from time to time :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm huge fan of Inna Modja (french/Malian female singer). The secret garden (Burnett) is one of mine favorite books. I like Into The Wild and my favourite documentary is 'The Life-sized city".

Teach, Learn, Share

As space-philosopher like to talk and learn about how we as humans like to live and use buildings, (indoor& outdoor) spaces, cities and landscapes in order to find what exactly makes a city life-sized.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Looking with them for the beauty and endless possibilities that their urban environments can offer them to make life in these places more pleasant and life-sized.
