About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Top Secret! Just kidding. My mission is to learn new things and meet cool people along the way.

ABOUT ME

I'm currently getting my masters in fisheries science. School is great but I miss traveling and meeting interesting people. I feel like I've learned more through traveling than all of my course work put together. I don't want school to interfere with my education and I think couchsurfing is the solution to my problem.

PHILOSOPHY

The difference between a bad day and an adventure is your perspective

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was born lucky enough to have the means and opportunities to travel and learn. I've climbed volcanoes, swam in oceans and hiked through deserts. But the most amazing thing I have ever done was teach outdoor education to kids below the poverty line in the San Bernardino National Forest. Their eyes would light up when I told them about possibility of exploring the world around them. Most of them had never left their home town and because of pollution none of them had ever seen stars until their now. To watch someone burst with hope, wonder and astonishment and to know you had some small part in that is exhilarating.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Croatia, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Mexico, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Sweden, Thailand, United Kingdom, Vatican City State
