ABOUT ME

A Scorpio, so brains in the jockstrap, where else would they be. I am tactile and a good listener. I have a flair for colour and design. I enjoy cooking and have never poisened anyone.....yet.

PHILOSOPHY

Buddhist in beliefs what you sow so shall you reap. I respect all living things, they all have a part to play.I live this life by accident not design, having lost my money to liars and thieves I re-located to Turkey with an open mind and found a kind of paradise. I work hard and long hours because they are there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couch surfed in the context of this 'club' but have ended up on a few odd couches in my time, usually after a nights heavy drinking, how I got there I have no idea, was it fun ? who can say, I never kiss and tell lol

I enjoy dining out, meeting people, concerts, and lazing in the sun when we have the time.

Music, Movies, and Books

not much time to read, however I do start, but seldom complete, thrillers, watch horror movies....well they are so silly it takes no brains to watch so the brain can have a rest. Love all music but Pink Floyd I have followed for 30 years or so.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am a lover of the British Royal family and I am fortunate to have met several of them, however, tea with the Queen Mother and a Buckingham Palace garden party were wonderful moments for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Life is about learning, even the very young can teach us something, but it is not simply what you know, but how you use that knowledge that matters. We are all psychologists to an extent, however as that was my major I found a structure to my natural ability to understand others, so I am a good listener and counsellor. I have worked closely with young drug offenders and like to believe I have been a help to them in overcoming their problems and the causes of them. I have an open mind to all things and do not believe any man has the right to judge others. Beauty is all around us all we need to do is learn to open our eyes and our minds. The blind see more than the sighted and the deaf hear better than those with hearing. Life is an adventure, a journey full of wonder and joy, of course there are sad times that is part of life's rich tapestry, but in sadness we find our true friends.
