We are Robyn and Derik Jones, a married couple from West Virginia who spent a few years in Austin, TX and now live in Virginia. Our personal motto is "Keep up with the Joneses", as in, we desire to do what feels right and true for us without the pressure or comparison of what anyone else is doing. Therefore, keeping up with only ourselves.

I, Robyn, have been working in the social services field for several years, with hopes of pursuing a career that combines my favorite things: writing and traveling. Derik is an architectural designer with a passion for sustainable design. Together, one of our favorite things to do is to find speakeasies. It has become a mission for us to find a speakeasy in every city that we visit. Bonus points if you can take us to one in your city! We also enjoy camping and hiking and like to spend warm days at Shenandoah National Park.
