About Me
ABOUT ME
I have been for few years telecommunication technician. At September 2002 I left my home, the Czech Republic, to embark my longest hitch-hiking journey. My journey turned into an epic odyssey which took me through Asia, Australia and Oceania... I have been "professional" hitchhiker and amateur photographer. After seven years on the road I come back home and wrote a two books about my journey.
Then i hit on the road again. Acualy a catched the ocean wind into sails.
After crossing the Atlantic and the Caribbean on hitched sails boats, I entered via Cartagena the Latin America.
I spend over there 2 years... Than Covid stop my journey and I had to return home.
Now, in 2022, I'm back to wandering around South America. I am currently in Argentina.
PHILOSOPHY
Philosophy of Hitch-hiking:
In the morning when I get up, I have no idea where on earth I may sleep the following night. I let myself be blown away by the wind of fate and chance. Everything is a challenge for me. A challenge that I do not fight in any way and I am in sweet awaiting of the new day surprises and interesting people to meet me. And that is the charm of it all...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I spend many years hitchhiking and traveling around the world. During this time on the road i met many people (not just CS/HC members) who offered me a bad, invited for dinner or help me in many ways... And I will be happy to get a chance to give back small part of hospitality which i received on the way.
