Socially conscious, but not rabid, politically informed but not obsessed, I am an avid architectural photographer in my free time. I also enjoy film, cooking and wine, and cycling. I'm an active Aikido student.

It would be good if you have some combination of a verified profile, references, and experience hosting. If you have been on SC for a long time, but have never hosted - why? You should have a verified profile as well. If not, you should have great references from hosts. People often don't seem to have read this part of my profile. Had a great experience with a cyclist who was crossing Canada West to East and then U.S.A. East to West. He stayed at my house for two nights. In 2018 & 2019, I did three-month trips to Europe, meeting many generous hosts. I am trying to give back.

I do not travel as a tourist and appreciate that trait in others.
