I love to make connections with people, to meet strangers and to share. I believe when I show kindness, that kindness comes back. Armed with that mindset, I will explore the world. See the unseen with a smile on my face :)

I'm energized and assertive, but don't worry, I also have my quiet enjoying moments ;) I love everything about life, exploring, laughing, nature, making connections, animals, playing, dancing, music, and singing (although I don't have a great voice ;). I Aspire to receive everything that life throws at us, and give even more than that.

Furthermore, I'm quite spiritual but also down to earth, which (I have to admit) is a weird combo. I love to wonder what there is more behind life but also try to be realistic. Anyway that also means I'm curious about perspectives, also yours!

Also, I'm quite minimalistic. So I don't need much and I'm happy with little things. I also like to be resourceful with the things we already have, Instead of buying new things. That is also because I like to be sustainable.

Before this journey of hitchhiking to Asia, I was a student. I just graduated from a BSc in Technical medicine and a MSc in Health Psychology and Technology. My mission after my travel will be merging these worlds together, because I believe the body and mind are very much intertwined. But for now, let's explore the world!

I've love to play sports, I've played ice hockey my whole life and can pick up another sport quite easily. I have a little experience in horse riding, sailing, surfing, snowboarding, but I still can learn a lot in these sports.

Right now I'm hitchhiking around Europe towards Asia. With my little tent and sleeping bag I can sleep anywhere, but I rather do it somewhere safe :).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have hitchhiked from Europe to Afghanistan, during this 10 month trip, I slept at local's houses, couchsurfers and in my tent. I met many people who I hold dearly in my heart. They showed me around, learned me things about their culture and also showed me lessons about myself. A journey of a lifetime, and more is yet to come.
