About Me

I've done a lot of different stuff in life and I've often learned the hard way. I'll rub shoulders with anybody and I don't really care who you are. I hate titles and bullshit and I believe in people. I've no time for politics or religion or any other walls between people. I've had some struggles in life and they have made me determined. When I put my mind to something, I do it and I'll never throw in the towel.
I've never really done the travelling thing and it's something I would love to do before I die. One of my greatest ambitions is to move to a non-English speaking country and try to learn the language and survive. I meet so many people who do this in Dublin and it amazes me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because a friend of mine convinced me to join. I spent a weekend in Berlin and he showed me what Couchsurfing is about. I met a bunch of people from the community and I was sold. I just want to meet new people and have similar experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I grew up in the 90's so that heavily influenced my musical taste. I love Berlin techno. All of my friends were DJ's and I grew up in a house with a recording studio in the garage, so music has always been a huge part of my life. I used to spend my Saturdays in record shops or in my mates' houses listening to vinyl. I've always been a fan of the more underground type of techno and dance music but I'm also a fan of bands who shaped the time like the Happy Mondays, Depeche Mode, the Pet Shop Boys to name a few. I'm a huge fan of techno and often travel to go to gigs and clubs in Berlin or Amsterdam.
I don't read that much but I love dark thrillers.
I don't watch a lot of TV. I got rid of my TV about two years ago. I have to start going to the pictures again cause I love the movies. I'll watch anything really once it is interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Los Angeles and hired a Ford Mustang and drove around California for two weeks. So many cool memories like driving through the Mojave desert or along the 101 with the Pacific Ocean to my left and a cool breeze in my face.

Teach, Learn, Share

There's more to life than work and money. So many people have it harder than you. Never judge somebody who is down on their luck because it could be you next. The wheel of life turns and you may be up today and down tomorrow. Try to understand people before you judge them and don't look down on somebody unless you're helping them up. Just because somebody doesn't wear the flashest clothes or doesn't shout the loudest or is not the centre of attention doesn't mean that they are not interesting. Sometimes you have to seek out the buried treasure. Don't ignore the quiet ones and don't take good people for granted. Remember those who are good to you and never forget those who are not.
