ABOUT ME

We are living in a small house in Rosanow, next to Zgierz, about 20 km from Lodz.
Rosanow is the green place, where most people come for living during the summer time. It is very nice place, but unfortunately with an unconvinient public transport. We are 54 and 57. I, Elzbieta, work as reserch assistant (Ph.D) ,my husband works in public administration in technical department. Ryszard is strongly interested in sailing,recently we spent several holidays on sailing in Croatia. He is yacht coastal skipper and we would be happy spent our holidays on sailing.

We have two doughters : Dorota (student,24) - temporary lives in Lyon, Anna (vet, 32) - temporary lives in Duesseldorf. We have also three cats and one dog.
Ryszard works in Technical Department in a Courthouse, I am PhD engineer and work as reseach asistance in Textile Institute.

We like to meet other people, especialy those with similar interests and sense of houmor. On September/October we would like to travel and if it would be possible to sail in Greece.
We also skiing ,Rysiek try gliding.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have learn about CS from my younger daughter Dorota (24 , lives in Lyon, active memeber of CS)
We are interesting in another open minded people, maybe in hosting them, not only those in our age (50+). Sailors are specialy welcome :).The best time for hosting for us is weekend. Because of our job, we are 6.30-18 away of home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have started my advanture with CS just month ago (DEC 2010), so I have no experience, but once , we were hosting (6 weeks) girl from US, she came to Poland as Peace Corps Volunteer.
We have also hosted one weekend family from Japan, that I met during my job.

Interests

Sailing, snorkling, skiing, travels, being in another cultures.
Recently we spent at least one week on sailing in Croatia. My husband is completely crazy about sailing, would be happy to spend the rest of his life on sailboat :). He is sea sail skipper.I like sailing also,but in my opinion there is a lot of other things worth to try and to see. Fortunately he likes also skiing.
I asked him about his interests and he gave me this list:
aerospace, naval history, military history, oceanography, tectonics, sailing, aviation, aviation history, aviation technology, history, sea wars, World War II at sea and air.
Fortunatelly he has many practical skills , so he has done a lot in our house.
My interest is , first of all, our lovely house.
Ryszard is very handy skilful, a lot in our house and garden was made by him.
We are very interesting in travel by recreational sailing in Greece.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing thing that we have done is our house. I have never dreamed before that we will have so nice , small house by the wood and meadows.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ryszard is keen on teach, learn and share all his interests, skills especially sailing.

Elżbieta: : walking , visitng , seeing, likes to be busy with new things, all this together with other people
