About Me

Hey there:) I am Rosanna, an open-minded, adventurous young woman, motivated to explore as much of this beautiful place here as possible.
Learning about myself and what I want to do with my lifetime trough getting to know different people, different lifestyles, stories, interest and convictions, different cultures and habits.
I grew up in an German-Hungarian family, in a gorgeous environment, which I am so thankful for. I’ve got many hobbies. There are less artsy things, that I haven’t done yet than those I did.:) For example embroidery, painting, even mandalas on walls, sewing, book binding, pottery, other clay arts, cake decoration, a lot of photography, digital and analog and I am sure that was not all.:D
I am also involved in environmental activism, which I have been actively doing for years. Besides the purpose to travel this is one other one of the reasons why I took a gap year, now, after I just finished the first part of my studies and before I am moving abroad for uni.
Besides I love every way of moving, sports, (I also did a lot and the most different ones: football, ballet and contemporary dance, thai box, gymnastics, yoga, athletics, but my main sport was always equestrian vaulting. I am happy to talk about it) and everything outside, connected to nature, with people, being mindful and attentive.

But since I am traveling at the moment I am sorry for not being able to host anyone, looking for a place in Budapest but as soon as I am back home you are welcome to stay with me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies for example Captain Fantastic, greatest movie, extremely teaching, embracing contrast. Watch it by chance!!
Also Call me by your name, also beautiful movie,
Patch Adams, soo heartwarming.
Don’t look up, Avatar, Wall-e, that I think every human should have seen and discussed the meaning.

I‘d love to read more, but I often to impatient, willing to move so I am rather the learning by doing person.

And music.. everything. I love melodic electronic music, house, indie, international music, sometimes classical, a lot of different stuff:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ooo there are small and bigger things. In general I feel thankful every day for being given the opportunity to experience life, to being able to feel, to sense, to appreciate..
But to mention some things; first of all happing to be born in a wonderful, loving and supporting family with three siblings. Having a gorgeous childhood, finding wonderful friends. Doing a lot of sport, even participating in the world championships, experiencing to work hard in a severe accomplishment oriented school. But then also learning about my limits, learning to listen to my intuitions, to listen inside, overcoming my quite toxic perfectionism and an eating disorder, switching school system, becoming a waldorf student, coordinating a local group of a climate youth movement, relearning to be playful, to be creative, to handle if I fail in something, organising and speaking up on climate strikes, singing on a demonstration, organising a big youth choir production, giving a TV interview and representing my movement in newspapers, articles. Attending huge activist camps, volunteering in a ceramics manufacture working with disabled people abroad, being in a teaching relationship, learning to accept and appreciate change and the flow of life. After my final exams going travelling alone, visiting a lot of different countries, seeing different lifestyles, making a lot of international friendships, staying in squats, eco villages, communities, wild-camping in breathtakingly beautiful natural places… so so so much, but I could mention countless things that I am grateful every day, even if nothing happens.:)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking together and also cook a lot on my own, Hungarian dishes are not easy without meat ( I am vegetarian) but I can give it a try if you want, but a vegetarian and vegan meal, anytime:)
I really enjoy talking about deep and relevant things, listening to people’s stories, sharing mine but also doing purposeless spontaneous fun things, singing together, watching a movie, anything
And as a host I‘d love to show you around, go to an event with you, explore some new hidden roads of Budapest
