Its july 2022, I havent updated my profile in almost two years. It’s always mixed emotions going back through my CS profile, puts me into past state of mind and making me feel nostalgic :)

My name is Cédric, I’m almost 28 years old (shit...) I come from Dijon, a charming little town in the middle-east of France, where we made some famous mustard, how cool is that... I’m a live sound engineer, waiting for something to take me out of my boring life and go travel again.

I love people, I love making incredible connexion with random people whom i'll never see again, and I love walking by and stopping by incredible and beautiful landscape. Makes me wanna talk about life and the universe pretty much all the time :D

I used to describe all my travels because i wanted to share with everyone reading all the luck i had while travelling, i realised it was too long and thought we could just talk about it when we meet :p

I just wanna say About 2 years ago i came back from an amazing sailing trip in the south pacific ocean with my cousin, wildest life experience so far we almost died 10 times but I’ve seen the mots beautiful sunset of all time ahah.

2 years before that, i had an incredible 6 month experience in china, still thinking about it like everyday, honestly i feel so gratefull having witnessed that.
I basically moved to china to work as a musician. I then left and went to live in a buddhist temple for a month and half. Coolest experience of my life, most beautiful places I've seen, most beautiful people I met. The first three people I met out there told me I was meant to come here. I've been officially Buddhist since 04/04/2016 =)

If you have any travelling experiences to share - and i'm shure you have - I would love to hear that, and we could also see who had the weirdest experience ever while living abroad :D

I'm vegan, partly because I believe in equality and rights for all living being, so i'm also into other social struggles such as feminism, ecology, I don't want to bother you with this, but if you're open we can exchange about it =)

Also, waking up in the morning is horrible, Why cannot we stay in bed until noon every day?

PHILOSOPHY

I like to learn and everything than can be learnt, and want to understand how this world works.
I want to travel as much as i can, and discover every beauty of this world, weither it comes from nature or human beings.

I believe working ( having a ''normal" 9 to 5 job) is a complete non sense and take us away from the possibility of living an amazing life full of discoveries and incredible experience. It doesn't mean i'm lazy and don't wanna work (well i am lazy) but more that our working system is fucked up and isn't made to help us open up our mind.

CURRENT MISSION

Be happyyy yaay ( and also being able to go " bbrbrbrbrbrbrbrbrbrbr'' with my hands and feet on drums and become a super super fast drummer )

ABOUT ME

Well I guess it's always hard to describe yourself as it depends on how people see you, some people might tell you that im the biggest stupid french moron ever, some other might say that i'm nice and funny and intersting and blablabla, one thing for sure, all of them will tell you that I speak way too fast.

I think i'm kind, i want people to be happy and to stop living under stress and anxiety which i think is terrible.

I love meeting up with people in random conditions as much as i love being alone far away from everything in some peacefull spot.

Couou, je m'appelle Cédric, j'ai 28 ans, je viens de dijon, on y fait de la moutarde wouhou c’est super cool.

Pour des raisons que je ne sais pas expliquer, je trouve que j'ai mieux réussi a me décrire de manière simple et transparente dans la version anglaise de mon profil, si vous parlez anglais, lisez le =)

J'adore rencontrer des gens randoms dans des conditions improbables et passer des moments super chouettes et possiblement ne plus jamais re croiser ces personnes.

Il y a deux ans je suis rentré d'un périple de 3 mois dans les îles du Pacifique, j'y ai fait de la voile avec mon cousin, c’était un peu n’importe quoi mais vraiment fou !

Deux ans encore en arrière ( soit 4 ans, du coup), j'ai vécu 6 mois en chine.
Experience la plus folle de toute ma vie (mais aussi la plus what the fuck), j'y ai jouer des concerts devant 2000 bonhommes et après j'ai vécu dans un temple bouddhiste pendant un mois et demi, oui je sais c'est n'importe quoi aussi, je m'en remet toujours pas.

Je suis officiellement bouddhiste depuis 04/04/2016 =) (mais en vrai je fais plus rien, la flemme m'as contaminer)

Maintenant je suis de retour a dijon, j'ai une vie ennuyante où je joue de la musique autant que je peux et je glande beaucoup.

Si vous voulez partir faire un tour du monde prévenez moi, je suis chaud.
Pour pouvoir continuer à m'acheter mes cymbales (qui coûtent une blinde) et accessoirement à manger, et payer mon loyer, je travaille dans le spectacle vivant, hééééé oui, je suis un baboss d’intermittent du spectacle :'( :'(

J'ai tenté de faire une licence en physique chimie, que j'ai magnifiquement échouée parce que j'étais trop mauvais même si j'adorais ça. J'avais aussi un peu de mal avec le concept de se lever avant 10h du matin.

J’ai fais d’autres voyages avant aussi mais le but n’est peut être pas de raconter ma vie entière ni de passer pour un mec qui parle que de lui :D

Si vous avez des souvenirs de voyages - et je suis sur que vous en avez si vous êtes ici - j'aimerai beaucoup les écouter et on pourrait aussi voir qui a vecu les moments les plus chelous en tant qu'expatriés :D

Je suis vegan (OMG) et je dirais que je suis assez sensiblisé (en tout cas j'essaie) aux luttes sociales comme le féminisme ou la lutte contre l'homophobie.

PHILOSOPHIE

J'adore tout apprendre et tout comprendre, à un point ou c'est même relou ahah. Si vous avez n'importe quelle compétence ou savoir faire, je vais surement vous posez 2000 questions.

Je pense que le travail c'est de la merde, et que travailler 35h par semaines toute sa vie est une arnaque monumentale. Et je dis pas ça parce que j'ai la flemme depuis que je suis né (bon d'accord, un peu quand même)

A PROPOS DE MOI

Bon la il serait temps de truc un marrant histoire de se détendre un peu le slip mais j'ai rien qui me viens à l'esprit alors je finirai avec une citation de kaamelott : Nec Deus Pluribus Nisi Vindice
Le roseau plie mais ne cède qu'en cas de pépin. Ça veut rien dire mais c'est assez dans le ton !

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy mainly metal music, but also a lot of other style such as rock, funk, long instrumental tunes or sometimes "simple" rock song, like from the radio (although this doesn't happen a lot to be honest :p )

I'm not really into movies, but a lot into series, LOST changed my life , and i'm almost not kidding.It's my favorite one of all time so far !

I also really like classics : The walking dead, falling skies, game of thrones etc...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Playing drums live.

November 2015 update : now I must say, the second most amazing thing i've done after knowing drums and music, was visiting the Great Wall of China. You just want to cry when you are there because it is just so so so so beautiful.

Somewhere in 2019 update : third amazing thing i've been lucky enough to do in my life, sailing for 25 days straight into the deep blue sea.

Update de novembre 2015, je dois admettre que maintenant, le deuxième super truc que j'ai fais dans ma vie,c'est visiter la grande muraille de chine. C'était hyper baleze et impressionnant.

Updat quelque part en 2019, 3è truc le plus cool que j'ai fais de ma vie, c'était 25 jours de voile dans l'ocean pacifique. Un méga délire.
