About Me
Female solo traveller.
26yo.
From England.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
❤🙏 To love all and to serve all 🙏❤
I am on Couchsurfing for the pure heart connection and love ❤ Couchsurfing is a great escape from capitalism and individualism. We are all here to support one another travel the world, make global connections and new friends, have adventures and experience cultures different to our own 🌏✈☀️🌊
So far I have used this profile to surf in South East Asia as a solo traveller 🙅♀️🙅♀️Now I would like to help out travellers in the UK. I may not be able to host as I live with my parents but I can answer your questions and attend meetups.
I'm not on CS for flirting or dating. Please respect my personal space and boundaries if we spend time together.
What I'd like to get from couchsurfing is authentic cultural exchange. I have dreamed about travel for the past 5-6 years and only recently felt brave enough to make the leap of faith.
I am interested in couchsurfing because I want to make my travel meaningful and purposeful, give something back to the countries I visit and really immerse myself into the local culture and way of life. Sightseeing is not the main focus or purpose of my travels, but is nice as an experience as and when it happens. I am travelling slowly without definitive plans and am taking opportunities as and when they come to me. Putting total faith in the universe 🙏🙏🙏
Rushing around trying to fit everything in is definitely not what I came travelling for. I want to fully absorb my experiences. I am very privileged and grateful to have the time to do so.
Couchsurfing is such an amazing opportunity because of its ethos. It relies on people being open to connection, generosity and not living in fear of one another. We're all one big human family after all! I have so far had many positive experiences with CS and have met good genuine people and I hope this continues!
I am a native English speaker from England. The majority of my work has been with children and young adults with special educational needs. I aspire to be a travelling teacher or a social worker 😊😊
Love, compassion, intuition and empathy are my guiding values and are very important to me. I try to do everything with love and I care deeply for the welfare of others and our planet.
I want to experience new cultures, learn about different religions and spiritual paths, try local foods, learn new languages and spend time getting to know local people.
I choose to eat vegan (I am very easy going about this - I try to be flexible to people's culture the best I can!) and I love hiking in nature and yoga. Mother nature is the biggest inspiration in my life. I love mountains ⛰🏔⛰
I am low maintenance and will be respectful of whatever your house rules may be.
I want my stay with you to be cooperative, so please let me know if I can support you in any way!
I have anxiety so my plans may change last minute. I may have to stay where I am and rest until my nerves calm down. I may get overwhelmed sometimes and need alone time. Anxiety isn't going to stop me travelling, but it might slow me down a bit 💪💪💪
I look forward to meeting with some of you soon 😁😁

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Decide to start my travels after 5-6 years of obsession/anxiety/procrastination. It was such a difficult decision for me but I'm facing (still working progress!) my fears and I'm making my dreams a reality!
