About Me

I moved into a different place! Sharing my flat with a flatmate now.
Since there is no living or spare room anymore, i‘m only able to host one surfer at a time. You‘d have to sleep in the same room with me though. if my flatmate is out of town you might be able to sleep in her room.

Hosting during the weekend is much easier for me! Preferably people, who enjoy a good techno party! ;)

Beforehead it is very important to me for you to read the following closely when requesting to stay with me.
An individually written request makes the decision wether or not having you over much easier. So here is some advice that might help both of us ;)

-) try to K.I.S.S. ;) (Keep It Short and Simple) If you handle 20 requests a day, you tend to decline before even going through someone‘s profile. Less writing and reading saves time for both of us, doesn’t it ;)

-) Introduce yourself. You want me to put as little effort as possible into the decision-making. Ideally I have already chosen to host you without even going through your profile. ;)

-) keep it personal. What do we have in common? Obviously, you request to stay with more than just one person (and thats absolutely legit). But people appreciate the effort, you‘ll see!

-) Your request (up to 3 nights is the magic number) shouldn't be sent more than 5 days in advance. ;) I know for some of you this sounds crazy because you'd like to plan your holidays in advance, but see, the idea behind CS is not a free airbnb, it’s about spontaneity, sharing a home whenever a host can make time to also spend it with their guests. ;)

-) Well, I live in a german speaking country and my profile shows pretty clear that I'm fluent in german, which is why I find it quite weird if german natives send me english requests. 🤔

-) Complete your profile. The more information I have about you (cause lets be honest - you are a complete stranger to me), the more likely I'm comfortable hosting you. This also includes a certain amount of uploaded pictures for obvious reasons ;)

-) And last but not least - get some references (in case you don't have any yet) ;) I know ... how are you suppose to have references if you haven't used couchsurfing before, right? Fair enough - well, make use of the hangouts! I‘m sure everyone you‘ll meet up with will be keen on leaving you a reference ;)

Please note: if you really went through all of the above you might already figured that I won't accept any third hand requests... I'm sorry, but requesting for other people is non-negotiable. 😅

I‘m doing my very best to get back to every request and message. Still, I hope you understand I can’t be bothered from time to time, answering the very obvious copy paste requests :p

Getting to my person now, I really enjoy to spend some time with my guests. :D If I don't have anything else planned I'm happy to show you around and introduce you to my culture, food and friends.
You‘re always welcome to join me and my plans (in case I have any) :D

I'm a party girl!! (Hell yeah) Since Vienna offers tons of day- and nighttime events, I can't quite resist a good party. :p If you like listening to Techno and Deep House, we could enjoy the Viennese party culture together ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a traveler, an explorer and adventurer. Not much of a risk taker though but opend minded to everyone and everything. And I suppose that's what CS members all have in common. I have been very lucky with people taking care of me, even before I registered on CS. Now it's my turn to make up for it.

Interests

I play 5 instruments and would describe myself as a very music-loving person. Also, I'm a passionate dancer. If you dance salsa, I might as well be already in love with you =O (for some reason it's quite hard to find people to dance salsa with)
I'm also alot into photography! Not professionally though but I reckon travelers tend to get into it at some point :p

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, Austria is THE dancing nation. (We somehow consider ourselves as dancers xD) We love ballroom dancing and therefore organise heaps of different balls all through the year. I used to work in a dancing school, so I'm very keen on teaching you some basic viennese walz ;)
