I’m Rozie from Yakutsk, Siberia — the coldest city in the world! (Yes, –60°C is real 😄)

I’ve been living outside Russia for the last 10+ years, mostly on beautiful islands where I worked as a Scuba Diving Instructor. I’ve traveled to 88 countries and I can’t imagine my life without meeting new people, exploring new cultures, dancing and cooking traditional Russian food wherever I go.

For me, Couchsurfing is all about people and cultural exchange, not dating.

I started using Couchsurfing in August 2013 while traveling across South America. Over the past 10 years, I’ve lived in 12 different countries and love meeting locals, talking about culture, history, politics, and everyday life is the best way to really understand a place.

One of the most unforgettable experiences I’ve had was volunteering at the El Cruce Saucony marathon in Patagonia. We camped in tents, cheered on runners and immersed ourselves in the breathtaking landscapes of the Andes.
