About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Setting out to make life a bit more fun every day

ABOUT ME

Love nature, love to go dancing (Up-beat, Trance, Salsa or Bachata), love sailing. Love my kids (5). Love to travel. Love interesting conversations. Love anthropology, history and languages.

Completely unordered of course :-)

PHILOSOPHY

Do fun rather than boring and do it sooner rather than later. There's seldom any good excuse to postpone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Paulo Coelho (the Zahir being the best I think) and Carlson&Bailey: "Slowing down to the speed of life" being the two books that comes to mind first.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, getting kids really have to be the most amazing, BUT with regards to traveling, I think it must be when sailing high waves in half storm, the great experience of closeness to animals on Galapagos and feeling the thrust to the chest of a space shuttle taking of at Cape Canaveral Florida, or simple things like just sitting around a table at a host in Ukraine with 5 people indulged in a deep and fun conversation and then just realizing that we didn't have one language in common, but had to get by on a mixture of English, Russian, German and Kurdish.

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Morocco, Russian Federation, Serbia, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, United States
