Hello Couchsurfers!

I recently (early 2025) reactivated my Couchsurfing account after taking a break since the start of the COVID pandemic.

Well, I was born and raised in Izmir, a beautiful coastal city in Turkey. In 2011, I moved to the UK to pursue my postgraduate studies, and I’ve been here ever since. I now work in the IT field and live in the charming town of Hertford, just outside of London.

I’m passionate about meeting new people, exploring different cultures, and sharing experiences…whether through travel or conversation. I’m excited to be part of the Couchsurfing community and look forward to connecting with fellow adventurers from around the world!

I first heard about Couchsurfing from one of my close friends, who knows how passionate I am about traveling. As someone who frequently explores new places and cultures, the idea of connecting with fellow travelers instantly appealed to me. Whether as a host or a guest, I genuinely enjoy meeting new people from around the world, sharing stories, and learning from their unique perspectives. For me, travel is not just about visiting new destinations, but also about building meaningful connections along the way. That’s what brought me here.
