To finish my studies and to continue my travels, to discover new places, new experiences and new people, to learn from others.

ABOUT ME

I am originally from Lisbon (Portugal) and I have been living in London for 8 years. I also lived for 6 years In Cambridge, a couple of months in France and 3 months in the US.

I am a minimalist and normally do not need much to be happy, I like the simple things in life.

My friends normally describe me (and I generally agree with them...) as a happy, open minded, relaxed, easy going, generous, friendly, laid back, honest, non judgemental and loyal person... also annoying at times :)

At the moment I spend most of my spare time on a part-time MBA, but travelling is a big addition: my most recent trips have been to Norway, Egypt, Morocco, Portugal, Ireland, Brazil, Turkey, Poland, Macau, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Bahamas, Italy, France, Scotland and the US.

I have not made any travelling plans for coming months, but on my agenda of priorities for the near future are Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Costa Rica, Dubai, Indonesia, Japan, Mozambique, India and Taiwan. This list can change at any point though :)

Hong Kong is probably the ONE place outside London or Lisbon that I would really like to live one day!

Apart from travelling, I enjoy scuba diving and recently took up an interest in motorbiking, I aim to take my motor bike licence soon.

I also enjoy being with my friends and family as much as possible, cooking, eating out and attending the varied cultural offerings London has to offer (especially art venues, markets, theatre, musicals and galleries).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a spare couch/sofa-bed in my 1 bedroom flat in Greenwich (South East London, Zone 2) which is available for surfers when it is possible for me to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch-surfing is all about meeting and getting to know different people, places and cultures without having expectations or expecting anything back. I am enjoying this experience :)
