Hey, I'm Ryan! I am from the beautiful Pacific Northwest region of the US(about an hour north of Seattle). I used to live and work in the Seattle area, but eventually followed my brother north to help him start his organic vegetable farm 7 years ago. I have since been working on the farm and in restaurants as a server as well as a little construction on the side. I enjoy reading fiction and non-fiction, watching international and indie films, going for walks and hikes, listening to all kinds of music, cross country skiing, running, yoga, and of course traveling to far off places. I am a very laid back guy who thrives in one on one conversations, though I'm not opposed to group socializing. I'm an introverted extrovert, or maybe it's the other way around. Things I'd like to do more of at home and while traveling: mountaineering(climbed Northwest jewels Mt. Baker in 2008 and Mt. Rainier in 2009), fishing, trekking, sailing, cooking delicious meals etc. I am interested in engaging in conversation on any number of topics, sharing music, cooking meals etc. I'd love to find people that enjoy exploring the wild nature of their region.
