Overview
About Me
Hey, nice to meet you! My name is Ryan, I'm from Cornwall in SW England but I currently live with my Fiancé Imogen in Bridgwater, Somerset. I have a Sport Science degree from the University of Gloucestershire and a Primary PGCE from Exeter University. I am a respectful, fun and adventurous guy, who likes to laugh and definitely doesn't take life too seriously!
Sadly, I'm often unable to host due to work commitments but it's worth a go!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started using couchsurfing whilst on a huge road trip around the USA with my best friend from University. We found that CS is a fantastic way to meet new people! Through couchsurfing I made new friends and saw the states through the eyes of the people who live there. I'm a huge believer that guide books and tourist information centres can only offer so much!
Now that I am a full time teacher, I will likely be unable to host, unfortunately. However, some weekends and school holidays might work!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think that driving 14,000 miles around the states in a minivan was pretty amazing! We also got on court at an NBA game in New Orleans and won $100, that was really cool.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hopefully I can share a different perspective on life, through growing up in a different culture. I would also love to share kitchen tips - I love cooking! Equally though, I'm happy to go to your favourite restaurant or bar and get something.
