Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Save money and connect with other people, obviously! Couchsurfers have shown me great generosity during my travels, and I want to pass on that generosity.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like indie pop/rock, jazz and bluegrass music. I don't watch many movies, but when I do it has to be heavy, deep drama or something outrageously awful. I read many works of non-fiction.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I recently biked the Tuscobia Ultra Race in snow and rain from Park Falls to Rice Lake, Wisconsin. It was part miserable, part fun, epic and a bit surreal.

My Interests
Mountain biking is my favorite activity, followed closely by cross country skiing. I also do quite a bit of paddling, hiking, showshoeing, camping and other outdoor pursuits. I love cards and board games
