About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Driving back to Alaska from Minneapolis. I'm stopping in seattle for a couple weeks along the way.

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in the small, boring town of Palmer Alaska. Pretty much did all the typical things Alaska has to offer: hiking, camping, fishing, horseback riding, hunting, snowboarding and motocross. The untypical aspect of my life was that I grew up building a golf course with my father. This enabled me to sped the past 5 winters adventuring around the globe.

PHILOSOPHY

To enjoy the flavor of life, take big bites.
Live and let live, everyone's life is there own to do as they please with.
When writing the story of your life, don't let anyone else hold the pen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Want to travel, don’t have a big budget. Want to meet people from other places and experience their world from their perspective. Would like to have people visit me in my home so I can show them around.

COUCHSURFING
I have had couch surfers stay with me before and enjoyed it tons. Always met interesting people who made me want to couch surf myself.

Interests

I love to explore and go on adventures. Just being outside seeing new parts of the world and learning cool new things. Lots of hiking and climbing, fishing and hunting. I've raced motocross for years and probably conciser it one of my favorite pass times. Down hill mountain biking is another recent passion I've discovered. Sailing is awesome and I cant wait for the day I have my own boat and can circumnavigate the world with it!! Also normally religious about going to the gym when I am on a regular scheduled. Getting into spearfishing as well. I also love to be lazy and watch movies and play video games! Drinking on beaches is up there too. Pretty much down for anything actually. Golf, board games, snowboarding, raves, lets have some fun!

Music, Movies, and Books

Ill listen to about anything so long as it has a good beat. I like a lot of rock, modern alternative, rap, and more recently I have been getting into EDM. I watch tons of movies and TV show, usually in the form of week long antisocial binges. If you can name it, chances are I've seen it. I read a fair bit, mostly history's or nonfiction's. I do like trashy fiction novels but typically just wait for the movie to come out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 7 months in South East Asia backpacking alone. Ended up meeting and sailing with a old friend of my uncles in India. He lives on his ship and travels around the warm parts of the world. I went over 4000 miles with him as first mate, crossed the India ocean, though the Java Sea, almost making it to New Caledonia with him before running out of time/money and jumping ship in East Timor. We stopped at tons of remote islands in Indonesia and Malaysia along the way, trading with the villagers and exchanging gifts and culture.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, England, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Timor-Leste (East Timor), United States, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
