Overview
About Me
Like making genuine connections, over food and drinks.
Opinionated but not bigoted, open but verging on the introverted, I like honest, interesting conversation about everything.
Appreciates the small things in life . I live in flip flops and think bidets are the best inventions ever.
Loves people who like to laugh, and adore people who make me laugh.
NOT a morning person.
I travel to play ultimate frisbee so if you play, we'll probably get along.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Met some travellers via mutual CSers. So far, everyone has been courteous, friendly, and every bit as varied and interesting as I'd hoped!
I've not hosted in a long time and have never stayed with a host, but past experiences have been fun and I am considering doing it again.
Interests
Ultimate frisbee, traveling, eating, people watching, the environment, outdoors and drinking. I like cultures and festivals and human nature. I have an awesome dog. I Love Food.

Music, Movies, and Books
Autobiographies, chick lit, books which talk about cultures in different countries.
Listen to anything from top 40s to classic rock. No EDM for me please.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I shamelessly cried before I bungee jumped off the highest bungee bridge in the world (216m Bloukans Bridge, Tsitsikama, South Africa) It was the single most terrifying, unbelievable act of foolishness I've ever indulged in.
Obviously I'd do it again.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a born and bred Sabahan, I can talk about Sabah and its people and the political and cultural landscape. I can share some inside info and tell you where to get good food that locals eat.
I have a spare room in my apartment but there is no public transport too close by.
Countries I’ve Visited
Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, England, France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Viet Nam
