About Me

+ I live an active & healthy lifestyle and celebrate good food, good music and good conversations.

+ I enjoy honest conversations about life's many aspects, while having a good laugh.

+ I love to dance. I love to laugh and I love to make awesome memories.

+ I am an authentic, life-loving, energetic, caring, mindful, passionate, loyal and reliable person who firmly believes in what you invest in life everyday is what you will get back in the end.

+ I enjoy traveling, cooking good food and I live a very active lifestyle. I like to be physically and mentally active. I love to work out, dance and push my body to the limit. I enjoy reading books about philosophy and get a lot out of reading autobiogrophies - there is so much we can learn from others. And I love music! Couldn't live without it.

+ I treat others the way I want to be treated - with respect, politely and I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I hate drama and am a straight-forward communicator.

I live by the following mottos:

+ Be somebody who makes everyone feel like somebody.
+ Believe in yourself.
+ It's not about how hard you can hit; it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.
+ More fuck yeah, less fuck that.
+ Nothing in life is to be feared; it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more so that we may fear less.
+ There is no elevator to success — you have to take the stairs.
+ Do what you feel in your heart to be right, for you'll be criticized anyway.
+ It's supposed to be hard. If it were easy, everyone would do it.
+ We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.
+ Success depends on your attitude; happiness depends on your gratitude
+ I sail on the ocean of possibilities with the wind of hope and the current of desires moving me to the shore of uncertainty.
+ To get dividends from life, invest in yourself.

Whoever you are, I look forward to meeting you!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love any book by Alain de Boton and Ken Follet.

Oh man, I love so many different styles of music...as long as it is raw and feeds my soul.
Some artists who I am obsessed with are:

+ Sevdaliza
+ JMSN
+ Natalia Lafourcade
+ Biome
+ Wende
+ Fink

I also really like Latin music, always have, but since I lived in El Salvador my passion for the music has grown even more. I especially love Cumbia! Salsa, Bachata and Raggaeton set my soul on fire.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

+ I quit my job to go to the Australian Open (Tennis Grand Slam) and watched Tennis from sun up to sun down.
+ I went ice bathing in Helsinki, Finland, which rejuvenated my body and soul.
+ I lived in El Salvador for one year, which made me appreciate so many little things in life.
+ I lived in Australia for several years, which made me really fucking happy.
+ I lived in China for more than 1 year, which made me realize who I am and what I truly want in life.
+ I taught refugees German, which made me realize how lucky and spoiled I am and how language is the key to open doors especially for people who face new beginnnings in a different country.
+ I was vegan for 2 years, which made me more aware of how nutrition can heal our bodies and added some banging recipes to my skillset.
