Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I need to clarify a few loose ends with the Social Security Administration by personally applying. Therefore I planned a trip to NYC from 7th to 19th of October 2019. I still have some frinds in NY area, but I need to be close to the city for my dealings with SocSec as soon as I arrive. So I need a place to stay.

I had heard of couchsurfing before, and if I like the workings of the system, I might become a host myself. Hey, I have 2 couches! :-)
