Hi Couchsurfers, I’m new to this amazing community, but not new to the joy of discovery. There’s something magical about arriving in a new city, wandering through quiet streets with no set destination, and letting curiosity guide me. For me, travel isn’t just about moving from place to place. It’s about feeling the pulse of a city, meeting people who shape it, and collecting stories that stay long after the journey ends.

About Me
I’m someone who blends technology, culture, and people into one journey. One day, I might be discussing Nikola Tesla’s futuristic ideas, the next I could be testing the micro-details of an audiophile IEM, or learning hands-on about mushroom cultivation from a local farmer. What ties all of these together is my 6-Layer framework, a way I’ve built to reflect on experiences deeply, so they become more than just memories.

I don’t travel to tick boxes or snap quick photos. I travel to connect, exchange stories, and build unique shared experiences. Couchsurfing, for me, isn’t just about finding a place to sleep. It’s the most human way to explore the world, because it’s built on trust, kindness, and curiosity.

As a guest, I bring openness, respect, and genuine interest in my host’s life and culture. As a host (someday soon), I hope to create the same safe and inspiring space for others.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I became a CS member after moving to Chennai. I've met few folks from different parts of the world and have shared amazing times together. Couchsurfing for me is much more than free stay. It's a way to connect and explore with the local community rather than being a tourist. I hope I get a chance to meet more amazing people, know about their cultures and also share my stories as well.

Inspired by Tomislav Perko Tedx Story :

Many people daydream about traveling the world, but all of them have the same excuse is - lack of money. Tomislav, after traveling the world for years with almost no money, shows how it is possible for everyone to do the same, if they really want to. Tomislav Perko, 29, is a travel writer from Croatia. After a career of a stockbroker, broke because of the financial crisis, he hits the road and turns it into his home. He uses alternative ways of traveling – hitchhiking, couchsurfing, working/volunteering and manages to wander around the world with just a little bit of money in his pocket, meeting the most amazing people on the way.

My perspective about wandering/exploring the world :

When you give yourself to places, they give you yourself back; the more one comes to know them, the more one seeds them with the invisible crop of memories and that will be waiting for when you come back, while new places offer up new thoughts, new possibilities. Exploring the world is one the best ways of exploring the mind, and walking travels both terrains.
