Hi there,
I decided to rewrite my 'about me' section, but found out it's not a very easy task.

Some random facts about myself: I like books. I love reading and I'm always reading something. Books are also my main source of income, as I translate literary fiction from English into Georgian. I love it and yes, I'm pretty lucky, thank you!

I love the sea. I love swimming. While swimming I feel free and confident, like that's what I'm meant to be doing. I think I should have been born as a mermaid.

I love listening to music. My days are filled with sounds and I can't imagine my life without it.

I don't know a lot, so I'm always open to learn more. I'm interested in everything others have to say. I like listening to people while they're sharing their experiences, be it personal or everyday.

I have a boyfriend. I'm only interested in friendships. Please don't waste both your time and mine with anything other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to know more about other countries, cultures, languages, people. We can share so much with each other just by talking about our everyday lives. What's very obvious for you, might be completely new for me. That's the biggest charm of meeting people from other cultures. And I'm looking forward to this exchange.

I like the idea of trusting someone enough to let them stay at your home and trusting someone enough to stay at theirs.

I think that if someone wants to really enjoy travelling and experience a new country, this is the only way to go.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to almost everything. e.g. Nick Cave, Placebo, Beatles, Muse. Currently my favourite band is The National.
I like watching movies, but I'm a Newbie. Still I can talk about movies :D how well is another story, thou...
On the other hand, I think, I've watched a pretty reasonable number of TV-Series. I love Friends and How I Met Your Mother, GoT and Big Little Lies, but my all time favourites are One Tree Hill and Gilmore Girls.
I love reading. And I read a lot, but my to-read-list is waaaaay longer than read-list. "So many books, so little time" right? 😁
The books I really like and come to my mind right now are: The Moon and Sixpence (Somerset Maugham), The Unbearable Lightness of Being (Milan Kundera), You Can't Go Home Again (Thomas Wolfe), Circe by Madeline Miller (I translated this book into Georgian 😊), Gone with the Wind (Margaret Mitchel)
My ALL TIME FAVOURITE book, which I think is just perfect and nothing can top that is მარადისობის კანონი (ნოდარ დუმბაძე) (The Law of Eternity by Nodar Dumbadze, one of the greatest georgian writers).
