Salut, salut ! Je m'appelle Salomé. Je suis une personne assez discrète, pas vraiment timide, mais j'ai tendance à écouter plus qu'à parler, surtout en groupe.
J'aime les activités plutôt posées, tranquilles : la randonnée ; observer les oiseaux ; errer en ville à la recherche de spots de street art ; bouquiner et boire des bières ou du whisky devant la cheminée.
J'adore apprendre des trucs sur l'histoire et les coutumes des endroits que je visite ; m'initier à de nouvelles langues étrangères...

Hi there! I'm Salomé.

I'm a rather quiet person. Not shy, but when I first meet people, I do tend to listen to them talking rather than doing the talking myself, especially in a group setting.
I like quiet indoor and outdoor activities: hiking; birdwatching; getting lost wandering the streets of new cities, looking for street art spots; reading, and drinking beer or whisky by the fireplace.
I'm always eager to learn new stuff about the history and lifestyle of places I visit, and I love learning new languages!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been hosting travelers occasionally ever seen I upgraded my housing situation from student studio to a real appartment with distinctive rooms in 2015 :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed once in Newcastle-upon-Tyne (2010) with a friend (we used her profile). Had a nice 3 days there. Super nice hosts!
Met with fellows CSers for drinks and hang outs during my summer in Canada (2013).

Si vous êtes amateurs/trices de randonnée, j'ai tout un tas de cartes IGN de la région, et de superbes balades à vous conseiller. Je peux aussi vous prêter des guides ornitho et botaniques.

French is my mother tongue, so I can definitely help you with that!
I always have good beers in the fridge and a few bottles of single malt whiskies lying around ;)
If you're interested in hiking in the area, I've got a whole bunch of IGN maps (French equivalent of the OS maps).
