About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Eastern Europe, India and South America to go. Wish me luck

ABOUT ME

I was born in Baghdad and raised Motor city Detroit. Some Arizona State University, then worked as a military advisor. I've covered more than 20 Countries so far and want to see a new country at least once a year.

I've seen too many castles, palaces, dams and mountains. What intrigues me most about travel is the culture. This is why I have traveled more outside the US than Inside.

I speak 6 languages and it's a big part of who I am. I prefer to couch surf where I speak the language.

I can get along with just about anyone and dont know how to be mean. I'm funny goofy playful flirty but can be serious when I need to be.

PHILOSOPHY

* Respect and accept everyone for who they are although they might be different on the outside.

*The human factor is stronger than anything.

*you have not learned until you've learned to accept others.

* As I grow older, my world becomes smaller.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't host anyone at this time, but I will take you out and show you what there is to be seen in Phoenix, especially in the Winter. So depending on what you want to do, I can make recommendations and show you.

Music, Movies, and Books

Dont watch too much TV, other than Spanish League, some, BPL,EPL, UEFA and World cup.

Anything else I watch is about the outdoors probably because I can't go outside :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

* Grand Canyon, down the Angel Trail
* Basaseachi waterfall (mexico)
* Diving on USS Liberty battleship in Bali
* Combat Landing in a fixed wing in the cockpit
* Flying numerous times around Baghdad in Helicopters
* Combat missions in volatile ethnic torn territories (iraq)

my favorite country has probably been switzerland. It's just beautiful. I come from the desert (Arizona) so to see green mountains and lush green grass with cows grazing and little farmer huts is pretty amusing to me.

Also, Malaysia has touched my heart. clean organized cheap hospitable harmonious

Eastern Europeans are amazing too. They are friendly and love to have fun (Yugoslavia)

Turks were also very warm and understanding people.

It seems like there are great people everywhere, it just takes an open heart.
