I'm Sam, I'm doing a Chef Specialization, have 27 years old and love to travel!

This time I'm traveling with my best friend Maca, she's Sound and Image Designer (also known as Film & Television degree), and also a wanderlust.

We are really social and friendly; very respectful with others and their privacy.
Just looking to try new things and have new experiences. Love talking with people and get to know them. We want to make the most of every opportunity, especially to travel. There's so much to discover, to learn, to share, to do and experience that would be wrong to miss it. Hope some day we can travel through the whole world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We believe the best way to get to know a place is by the eyes of the people who actually live there. We like to live that experience where someone can guide us through their country and not just get to know the typical tourist places.

Also we think that everyone has something to share, something to teach, something to learn and by couchsurfing you get to connect with people in this unique way!

Is more than just traveling and finding a place to sleep, we think it's about trading and making unforgettable experiences and getting to know people.

We really love sharing a good meal and long conversations.

Maca is a fan of extreme sports, even though she doesn't practice them a lot.

Music, Movies, and Books

We both enjoy reading, watching movies and tv shows, and music a lot. We really appreciate recommendations to increase our lists.

We really have a wide range of taste within this section.

Movies, ehmm? Well, we can watch everything really, from stupid comedies to elaborated dramas. Original films and their remakes. Within our favourite movie list you can find titles such as: 12 Monkeys, Misery, Abre los ojos, La piel que habito, The Shinning, The secret window, Synechdoche New York, Psycho, Vertigo, Rear Window, Shutter Island, Titanic, Mr. Nobody, Hedwig and the angry inch, Eternal sunshine of a spotless mind, El placard, John dies at the end and superhero movies among others.

TV shows, we really enjoy everything among them we've watched: Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones. The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Twin Peaks, How to get away with murder, The Office, Friends, Modern Family, Mad Men, Gossip Girl, Arrow, Daredevil, Vikings, and the list is too long to continue!

Books and music, also important as the previous categories, and also with a lot of variety. Personally I love Queen, also Pink Floyd but I think every music has it's magic, so I really enjoy listening a wide variety of artist. Maca enjoys those groups too, and also Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, The Black Keys. Of course, these are just ones to name!

Same happens with the books, within our list you can find: Harry Potter, 100 años de soledad, Mr Vertigo, The Double, The psychoanalyst, Alice in wonderland, El amor en los tiempos del cólera, To kill a Mockingbird.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travel around Europe, alone for the first time during 3 months after quitting my job, and it was pretty amazing.

Maca dived in Puerto Madrin, one of the most beautiful spots from Argentina's south region.

We think Coachsurfing is full of this!

Teaching learning and shearing are very rich and important items within human relations, and they full-fill you in ways you are not always aware of.
Being together with people from different countries which cultures are so contrasting gives you the opportunity to learn other languages, other ways of leaving and manners. Share with them our culture and teach them how we leave is a great way to begin a friendship.

We really cheer to meet people from which we can learn and with whom we can share things and make memories!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share our passion for travelling and knowing new places. Our experiences, our traditions.

I can share with them cooking lessons and Maca can share her passion for movies and her make-up artist knowledge.

We would love to really get to know our hosts and moreover, we will totally be glad if someday they like to come and visit our country so we can give them back some of the things we receive from them.
