I've had this account for FOREVER but I'm finally putting it to use! I have a goal to host a few (or a lot) of travellers this summer while we aren't travelling. We love hearing your stories, learning from you and exchanging skills!
Okay, about us. First things first- we have a baby in the house who is about 1 year old. He is usually super relaxed, he goes to bed late and sleeps most of the day (yay no early morning wakeups!), BUT if you aren't a baby person, maybe this isn't the place for you.
Our names are Samantha (Sam) and Gabriel. I am Canadian (native language English) and Gabriel is Chilean (native language Spanish). I am learning Spanish and Gabriel is fluent in both languages. I am a teacher, but since the baby arrived I'm working nights at a bar. Gabriel is an engineer, but since he just moved to Canada and is still looking for a job, he works as a chef.
We both love music, play the guitar and banjo, sing, like good movies and books, adventures..
And we have one cat!
