Ive joined couch surfing as I have a deep desire to travel - but not from a 'tourists' perspective - from a locals perspective. To really get a taste of stepping into another "place" through the eyes of someone who knows the place.

I work as a yoga teacher and have a stall at a local artists market where I sell my felted wearable art - hats, scarves, jackets and other adornments. I live in the middle of a stringy bark forest on 5 acres with my partner and 2 boys who are now old enough to let me escape every once in a while to experience and explore by myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, Im a mother so yes, giving birth certainly takes the cake. However just the other day I was driving through the hills where I live, late afternoon and there right in front of me in a sparkling green paddock was the end of the rainbow!! Glittering and Glorious it was. all my life I had never seen that close the end of the rainbow - but there it was - right in front of me.....but you know...as I drove closer, it slowly, slowly begun to disappear, just as I came into it, It suddenly wasn't there anymore, but I was there - Ah! the paradox that is this life!
