About Me
Knowing myself has always been a chimerical project that has brought me many moments of fulfillment and happiness, just like knowing others. This is why I would not like to describe the person I am too much and I would not like to stop enjoying the pleasure of being surprised by the virtues of a stranger. However, since here we very often do not have the time necessary to know people as deeply as we would like, I am going to make an effort to give some details about myself, trying not to go overboard in order to preserve a minimum of mystery.
To talk a little about myself, I will use English, which, fortunately or unfortunately, is the language of the world. I know many other languages and I enjoy learning their particularities, however I am aware that the most convenient thing is to use the common language. And it makes me sad, really. I would very much like not to have to use it. I have Esperantist friends, but I have not yet entered that world, perhaps because it is too idealistic, even for me. Speaking of ideals, I would also like not to have to describe myself, I would like the world to be completely open and for us all to have enough time to get to know each other properly. It is true that lately I tend to get carried away by what is convenient rather than what is ideal, but don't trust me, I can do something stupid at any time.
At some point I have to start the description, I could talk about my love of nature and the spiritualism and describe some of my trips, but after writing the last paragraph I'm not so sure that would be true to myself. I'm starting to not be so convinced about this. There is already enough reality in my daily life to resort to this haven of fantasy and not fight to make my utopia come true.
This platform has led me to very good moments in my life. And wherever I go, many times without looking for it I meet people who also happen to be here. So stranger, fellow, companion, friend, the world is a good place, let's try to be grateful by making it better.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Once I was walking the street with a friend, when suddenly there were a couple of gypsies playing guitar on top of a tree and a lot of people dancing under. We instantly knew that those were our friends. We went to enjoy their company, dance and play with them. It turned out to be my first Couchsurfing meeting.
Interests
There is a joke about a circus. It is nearly broke, because nobody is interested anymore. The owner is very concerned, he does not know what to do. Then suddenly a clown appears with a proposal, a new show.
"You see, we put a big pool in the middle of the circus and we fill it with shit. Then, we build a very tall trampoline and we attach a heavy stone with a string. When the circus is full of people, we cut the string and the rocks falls into the shit, spashing everyone. And then, the curtain opens and there is me, dressed in a white suit."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I asked my grandpa what book would he take if he could take only one to a desert island after a shipwreck. He looked at me very seriously and with a deep voice told me: "If I had to take only one, I prefer to not survive".
