Hi everybody, my name is Samuel, my Friends call me Sami, and I´m a 20-year-old guy from a small village in Austria.
I am back from a year in ecuador and exploring europe from now on on my bycicle with a friend I met volunteering.
I would consider myself as open and spontaneous, i don´t need alot and i am really easy to handle.
I want to see and get to know everything that i able to.
I want to know all the interesting and weird people of this planet.
I want to feel my surroundings and the things that are happening.
I love to do sports and to watch it. My passion is football/soccer, but in general I love almost any kind of sports/game. I love the nature and to walk/run.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hotels are boring, because life happens everywhere except in and around them.
I come from a community that every year books a holiday at the same beach, checks in in a fancy all inclusive hotel and watches the waves go by for two weeks, without seeing the surrounding cities and meeting the awesome people that live in them.
I decided that i do not want to travel and live like that and that i want to overcome my fears. The fear of having to go out of my comfort zone, the fear of bursting out of that small bubble i call home. SO HERE I AM, READY, for what will come. At least i think so.

I don't drink coffee, but belive me, i have the energy of three. Im open to everything you will propose. To get off my own ass and take part in whatever, thats my biggest intrest.

Music, Movies, and Books

Learned to play the drums and guitar, but have probably forgotten 90% of both, but i think i still have some things i can show you.

I love movies, especially well-made dramas. Also kinda trashy ones.

So many good ones and I am so bad at choosing.

one before, everything can happen
and because the episodes are not
linked together, everything is possible.
Amazing and sometimes straight up
terrifying!
But whatever it may be, i can talk hours about movies an actors.

Used to read a lot of crime based books, now i changed over to literature about the human mind and interaction between humans.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jump out of a plane from an altitude of 4.000 Meters.

Spend a year as a volunteer in south america. By far the hardest thing that i have done, but also the most rewarding. Showed me that life is so much more than what you can ever imagine and that the only way you can get a small glimpse of what life actually means is by seeking discomfort and by trying new stuff.
