CURRENT MISSION - To travel the world with our little girl as often as we can meeting kindness along the way. ABOUT US - A young family of three (34, 30 and 3) living in Sydney hoping to travel to new and wonderful places whenever we can, and when we can't....to meet people from far off places instead. We love the outdoors, seeing new places, meeting new people, sharing stories, free camping (if we possibly can), good coffee and any place to call home for a time.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Both of us have couchsurfed throughout the world as independent travelers. After we got married we continued and now that we have a wee toddler with us we wanted to try out the possibility of continuing with like-minded families or people. For Samuel, some of his best experiences traveling around Finland, Italy, Spain and England have been some of the best times he's had in his travels. Tara loved the generosity and friendships that were experienced with the people she stayed with in around New Zealand, Ireland, France and Germany. After such time we felt it was time to give back and show our little girl what humanity is all about!

Had a baby, put her in a backpack and left 'home' to explore the world for 9 months.

My Interests

Samuel: Design and Technology teacher by day, luthier of acoustic guitars by every opportunity he gets. Now full time Daddy. Tara: Full time mother and wife keeping it all together while exploring the world with her family. Acacia: Full time explorer of everything. Enjoys people immensely, music (preferably Queen, Adele, Beach Boys and Louis Armstrong), hiking, sleeping in the tent with mum and dad, climbing on things and above all....eating.
