Traveling for me isn’t just about sightseeing—it's about making meaningful connections, learning from others, and sharing stories and cultures. As someone who’s lived abroad and traveled solo, I know how important it is to feel welcomed in a new place, and I love the idea of offering or receiving that same hospitality. I’m a huge fan of world music—I love discovering traditional sounds from different cultures, whether it’s African rhythms or Latin American beats.
My movie taste spans a bit of everything: I enjoy international films and documentaries, but I can never say no to a good classic like Cinema Paradiso or a Wes Anderson movie for something quirky.
Books are a window into other worlds, and I’ve been loving Shantaram for its depth and adventure. Open to any great travel literature suggestions too! 🌍📖

It wasn’t always easy, but it taught me resilience, self-reliance, and the value of stepping out of my comfort zone. That experience has shaped who I am today."

I can teach you the basics of Arabic—whether it's a few useful phrases for travel or helping you with conversational skills. I also enjoy sharing what I’ve learned from my travels, tips for living independently abroad, and how to adjust to new cultures.

I’m always eager to learn new things, especially when it comes to different cultures, traditions, and languages. I’d love to learn more about your local customs, cooking styles, or even a new hobby or skill that you're passionate about!

Share:
I’m happy to share stories from my journey of moving abroad, as well as some of my favorite dishes, travel tips, and life lessons. Whether it’s over a meal or during a casual chat, I love connecting and learning from others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As your host, I’m happy to offer a comfortable place to stay and a welcoming atmosphere in my home. I can share my knowledge of Arabic if you’re interested in learning some language skills, and I’d love to introduce you to traditional dishes from my culture. I enjoy having good conversations about travel, life, and anything that inspires us.
Whether it’s offering advice about the area, sharing a meal together, or showing you around, I’m here to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. You’ll have your space to relax, but I’m always available if you need help or want to connect!
