About Me
Interested in travel and travellers tales. I live in Clydebank with my partner. Can offer safe accommodation particularly to women though sensible males also welcome. I work full time so you may be left on your own midweek during the day but Glasgow is very well connected to Clydebank and there will be plenty for you to see and do. Please bear in mind that I am 50 and not up for heavy partying particularly midweek but offer a comfy quiet room.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I just want to help folk travel and hopefully meet similar.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music - Marc Almond. There is no other music! Seriously, I'm a bit of an ageing Goth so anything alternative from the 80s is my kind of thing
Movies... The Time Machine. Never tired of watching it through the years while I travel in my own little time machine. Just watched Dunkirk last night! Wow! That might be a favourite too.
Book - Far From the Madding Crowd. Simple romantic escapism. This world needs more of it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Donated over 10 pints of blood. (Not in on sitting and yes it was mune not a couchsurfer's!) No idea how many folk that's helped. Donor services wont take me now sadly.
Also took a flight past Mount Everest. The Himalayas were beautiful. I cried.
Teach, Learn, Share
Hmm.... I can exchange travelling tales for yours and show you round Glasgow or Loch Lomond if free. If not Clydebank is very well connected so I can show you where the best and free places are!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a spare room with a bed. Its better than a couch.
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Nepal, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, United States
