About Me
I'm an open-minded traveler with a loooong list of places to visit in this life 🙃
It's sad that I need to do it, but as there some people not really getting the idea of CS, I want to state two things clearly: firts, I'm NOT interested in any sex-related one-night stays or any other relationships of this kind. I'm married and totally not interested in such things. Thank you.
Second, I can see that CS is sometimes perceived as a community of amazing-extraordinary-always-up-for-grabbing-a-beer-and-partying-till-the-next-morning-people-with-tons-of-unbelievable-stories-to-tell-and-kilograms-of-delicious-local-food-to-cook-anytime-anywhere. Well, I'm not one of them and I don't expect you to be like this either 🙃 I mean, I think I'm quite an interesting person and I don't mind sharing experiences, cooking meals together, grabbing a beer, etc. But don't expect me to be that imaginary person CS has created. And vice versa - if you're normal, that's just enough for me 😊 In my opinion the idea of CS is to share whatever one can. It's an act of selflessness; one does not have to be "amazing" to offer it/ take advantage of it.
I'm an online English and Chinese teacher. I like to combine working with travelling. Together with my husband, we like to move somewhere else for a couple of months, immerse in the local culture, actually LIVE in a certain place, get to know the people and taste the local food. At the same time, we work remotely as online teachers. We've done this in Croatia, Bulgaria and Turkey. This year we want to go to Israel for workation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here because I love traveling and making friends. I'm not interested in regular hotel-staying trips. I want to get to know the countries I visit by talking to their locals, eating their homemade food, visiting the places only they can show me. CS has showed me that nothing compares to experiencing local culture through local people.
I'm also open to show my beautiful country - Poland. As I'm hosted somewhere, I want to pay something back and host other travelers in Poland.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to North Korea! Btw, it's a beautiful country.
Went to China alone as an Au Pair!
And 2 years later, in 2018, went for an over 2-month long solo trip around China.
Then went again in 2023.
Climbed the mountains around Litang in Sichuan Province, China, which is quite hard due to the altitude - over 4100 asl.
Reached the Great Wall of China at one of the wildest sections - Jiankou. I had to hike for 3h in thick forest in order to reach it.
Climbed an enormous sand dune in Gobi Desert to see the sunrise.
Have been able to combine work and travels by teaching English and Chinese online and staying in several different countries for longer periods of time.
I know it's not that impressive but I went to.... Sosnowiec. Quite a few times. And I survived.
Teach, Learn, Share
Languages I know, skills, Polish traditional food, Chinese food (my Chinese dishes are much better than my Polish ones 🙈).
