Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Get back to basics.
Build a series of mobile/stationary tiny houses.
Give birth to and raise my baby in a simpler/saner/sustainable world.
ABOUT ME
I'm a lot of things and one very simple thing all at once: me.
The culminating experiences in my life have led me to discover just how unsustainable our economic, environmental and social models are. My life's work is going to impact positive change in that arena, I hope.
I feel like a site like Couchsurfing attracts the types of people who understand where I'm coming from there, and I want to meet some of them.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is an evolving mystery. We're like group of people sitting in a circle in one big room, and everyone has a different perspective of the same thing: the same room, but from different vantage points.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm seeking hosts who share similar philosophies as me with whom I can share mutual love and respect.
In previous work exchange environments where I thrived, I would do cooking, cleaning, and helping with household projects. Sometimes I ran errands within the neighborhood, but I'd currently be limited in more physical stuff outside the house because I'm pregnant (due 1/16).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It was very informal before. I made connections face to face, asked, and stayed at one lady's place for 2 weeks. It was a very serendipitous experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
Crash, Bruce Almighty, Craigslist Joe--just to name a very select few of thousands. Been spending a lot of time watching The Office and just finished Parenthood up until season 6. Don't spoil it!
Anything except country with the tight exception of 2 or 3 songs here and there (sorry to the fans) and fake hip hop...I'd rather listen to Kidz Bop all day.
Eve Green, Maniac Magee, The Four Agreements, and A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Costa Rica and lived/worked there for 3 months.
Teach, Learn, Share
Ideally, I'd love to learn a bit more about natural building techniques. Working with cob is a plus.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Would love to make you dinner and help with chores!
